Research Experience

Laboratory assistant and Researcher

2010-2014. Laboratory of Biochemistry and Genetic of Microorganisms, UANL. Mexico:

Prepared the laboratory´s reagents, ordered supplies, assisted in bachelor´s laboratory practices.

Investigated the effect of natural citric-based disinfectants in Salmonella strains.

Studied the effect of extracts in different pathogenic groups of Escherichia coli (EAEC and STEC).

Volunteered for different scientific meetings and workshops: managed the logistics of participant´s attendance, developed meeting materials and helped in instruction.

2012-2014. Research assistant and volunteering

Laboratory of Molecular and Experimental Pathology:

Collected fish and conducted physical and statistical analysis looking for several parasites of the Laguna Madre Lake, in Tamaulipas,  Mexico.

Collected ticks and helped in experimental and statistical analysis for an epidemiological study of the Lyme´s disease in Monterrey, Mexico.   

2013. Laboratory Botany, FCB-UANL, Mexico:

Conducted research in determining the importance of vitamins and salts in the MS media to grow Moringa oleifera.
